Karin presented the CORDIAL project (see picture) and at a booth, Frank demonstrated the PD system. Both received enthusiastic reactions.

The website of the organization (heimdialysekongress.kfh.de) states that the progress in the field of home dialysis has been surprisingly positive. New device developments and initiatives by all participating groups – patients, doctors, nurses, politics, industry and society – are reinforcing change in many places. Especially during the pandemic, home dialysis procedures also proved to be beneficial for patients due to the possible avoidance of infection.
