The dialysis users are the ultimate experts

Interaction with the future users of the device is vital to the success of the project and further development of the device as it provides us the ultimate insights of how we can make it work.

Our multilingual online survey—available via this project website and available in English, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian—, aims to explore user preferences for new peritoneal dialysis devices. We have already received 65 completed surveys and our goal is to reach 100, which we think we can reach this summer!

In parallel, we’ve finalized preparations for a focus group in the Netherlands. The session will provide deeper insights into user preferences and offer a closer look at their experiences with the WEAKID device. The Dutch focus groups are planned to take place before the summer of 2025, with similar sessions to follow in Spain and Italy.
